Entergy Honors City Of Prescott At Luncheon

Prescott was one of 19 cities recognized at a luncheon in Little Rock April 12 as an alumnus Team City Partner with Entergy's economic development department, Teamwork Arkansas. Four new Team City Partners were recognized as well.

Team City Partners are cities that have demonstrated their commitment to economic development by dedicating time, people and money to prepare the community for success at attracting new business and nurturing existing business. These are cities that Teamwork Arkansas has developed working relationship through which Prescott can benefit from economic development expertise and resources offered by Teamwork Arkansas.

The luncheon at the Little Rock Club, was attended by about 80 economic development professionals, local elected officials and business leaders from across the state.

"We at Entergy are extremely proud to be associated with each of you and those you represent," Entergy Arkansas president and CEO Tom Wright told the community representatives and Entergy customer service managers present.

Teamwork Arkansas, now in its 14th year, is dedicated to helping Arkansas communities develop their ability to attract business.

Teamwork Arkansas also facilitates contacts between business prospects and the communities Entergy serves.
