Tri-Service ClubPublished Wednesday, May 10, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Tri-Service Club met on April 27 at the home of Sherry Jordan with Judy Vasser as co-hostess. During the business meeting funds were allocated to several worthwhile projects. Those receiving donations were Prescott Elementary School, $1,187.50; Prescott Middle School, $1,87.50; Artesian Arts League, $500; Nevada County Day Service Center, $500; Nevada County Health Unit, $225 for landscaping and $150 for the New Born Clinic; and Chamber of Commerce, $50 for a membership. The donation will be used to purchase playground equipment.
