College News - Lacey PipkinPublished Wednesday, May 10, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneLacey R. Pipkin, a senior at Nevada High School, recently received a leadership award to SAU. To be nominated for a leadership award students must exhibit exemplary leadership skills, have a 3.0 or better grade point average and score above a 21 on the ACT. In high school Pipkin is a member of the National Honor Society, Drug-Free Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, gifted and talented and Future Business Leaders of America. She received an award in biology and was named to Who's Who Among High School Students. Pipkin plans to major in nursing. She is the daughter of Kerry and Debbie Pipkin of Rosston.
