Boughton NewsBy MRS. WILLIE HOOKSPublished Wednesday, May 10, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune We have had rain and more rain. Lawner and Arleen West visited Syble Brown Tuesday. Angie and Gary Beck spent the weekend at their cabin home near Branson, Mo. Douglas and Carol Johnson of Little Rock and Gaye and Don Shelton and granddaughters Maria and Nick visited Mildred Johnson over the weekend. Jimmy Joe Jester spent the weekend with his sister, Denise Stubbs, and her family of Nashville. Nadine Brown had her teeth pulled last week, but she is doing okay. Ann Oliver visited Chloe Orren during the week. Our son Willie Hugh spent Tuesday with us last week. Too much rain to hunt or fish, so we enjoyed some dominoes. Mildred Johnson was treated with a dinner plate from Boughton Church Sunday by Donald and Eddie Ingersoll. Olgia and Patricia Ingersoll visited her Sunday afternoon. Ashley Beck spent Thursday and Friday night with Papaw Herbie Ridgell. Margie Lucas spent one night last week with Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas.
