Hillcrest Plans Events For Nursing Home WeekPublished Wednesday, May 10, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneIn observance of National Nursing Home Week May 14-20 Hillcrest Care and Rehab will host a series of events designed to enrich the relationships among residents, youth, community members, family and staff, according to Margie Johnson, administrator of Hillcrest. The theme for next week is A Legacy of Quality.' "We're proud of our residents and staff and what they have to share with others here in our community," Johnson said. "We invite all the members of our residential families and other members of the local community to our facility to learn more about how we operate, our industry, and the very close relationships that our residents develop with our staff members and other volunteers here in Prescott." Next week Hillcrest will host several events, which will get underway with special opening ceremonies with community leaders and the Nevada High School band. There will be a variety, comedy and country show, homemade ice cream and a bluegrass band on Friday to close out the special week. National Nursing Home Week is an annual observance sponsored by the American Health Care Association and the Arkansas Health Care Association.
