MITCHELL'S FUNERAL HOME of ARKADELPHIA

Clara B. Fort of Okolona returned to her loving Father's arms Sunday, May 7, 2000, at 10 p.m.

Mrs. Fort was the wife of Eddie Boo-Jack' Fort and the daughter of Erma Buford, both of Okolona. She served briefly in the U.S. Army as a PV3 and she was a licensed cosmetologist. She was also a licensed practical nurse at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia for 13 years. Currently she began to establish a floral and gift shop, H.A.T.-L.E. & B.E.L.T. She was dedicated servant to her church and community. She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Buford, two brothers and one sister, James Buford, Harold Buford and Ivory Jean.

Mrs. Fort leaves to morn her passing, her husband, Eddie Fort; her mother, Erma Buford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lesa and Darrel Simpson and Tomeka and Fonda Jackson; two sons, Buford Dickens and his wife Chama and Eddie Fort Jr., all of Okolona; three sisters, Carrie Issac of Prescott, Cloria (Chester) Lee of Portland, Ore., and Shelia (Hillory) Fierson of Marshall, Texas; and two brothers, Leon (Cindy) Buford of Battle Creek, Mich., and Earl Buford of Los Angeles, Calif.; and four very special grandchildren, Armontie Dickens, Fonda Jackson Jr., Keidric Dickens and Kosbie Dickens.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Mitchell's Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church.
