College News - Graduating: Benson, Bratton, Hendrix and LedbetterPublished Wednesday, May 10, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesFour students from Gurdon will take part in the Henderson State University commencement exercises to be held on Saturday, May 13, at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium. Graduates from Gurdon are Deanna Benson, who will receive a master of business administration degree; Holly Bratton, who will receive a bachelor of science in education degree; Lee Hendrix Jr., who will receive his master of science degree; and Joel Ledbetter, who will receive his bachelor of science degree. The ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m. In the event of rain, the ceremonies will be held in the Arkansas Hall Auditorium: the Ellis College ceremony at 10:00 a.m., the School of Education at 12:00 noon, and the School of Business at 2:00 p.m. Dr. William Gentry, professor, Department of Social Sciences, will provide the faculty charge.
