News is scarce as we have been camping on Columbia Lake the past few days. Roscoe, Bob and Jacob Grisham and A.B. Luck caught several pounds of catfish. They brought in 11 catfish on Saturday morning.

Sympathy to David, Lee Ann and son due to the loss of their infant daughter a few days ago. They had a graveside service at Union Cemetery.

Sympathy to the Dallas Whitehead family in Houston. He passed away this week and was the last of that Whitehead group.

Gaylon and Kay Waters' grandchild, that was injured on a 4-wheeler last week is improving. He had to have surgery in Little Rock on his pancreas.

There will be wedding shower next Sunday afternoon, May 7 at 2 p.m. at Bluff Springs Baptist Church for Jace Jarvis and Leslie Grimes. This is hosted by some ladies from Bluff Springs and Rosston.

Todd West will be the evangelist at the revival at Unity Baptist Church in Hope, April 30-May 3 at 7:30 p.m.

Claudie and LeVergne White have recently been to Houston to visit Jim and Darlene Caswell. Jim has had by-pass surgery.

The Patterson's of Gravette have been recent visitors of the Claudie Whites'.

Whites Chapel homecoming will be Sunday, May 7. Bro. Jerry Evans of Taylor will bring the morning message with singing in the afternoon.
