Boughton NewsBy MRS. WILLIE HOOKSPublished Wednesday, May 3, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Willie finally killed a gobbler. I don't know how much he weighed but he had an 11-inch beard. Joy Shaver of Hamburg spent Monday night with her Aunt Elsie Elmore. Joy and Elsie spent Tuesday night with Willie and me. Annie Mae Hooks spent Easter weekend with her daughter, Diane Blankenship and husband, Billy of Ashdown. Herbie Ridgell is home from Fort Worth. Paul and Robbin Ridgell, Margo Green and Jeff and Robin Ridgell visited him Sunday. Sammy House spent Sunday with his parents, Lenord and Faye House. Willie and I enjoyed having Felice Flaherty and his friend, Irene Little of McCaskill visit with us Sunday afternoon. Robert Orren visited his great grand mother, Chloe Orren Sunday afternoon. Lyndal Garner also visited Chloe during the week. Ruth Perkins and granddaughter, Niki of Arkadelphia visited Mae Blount Tuesday. Boughton Church members enjoyed a roasted pig Saturday night at the church. Congratulations to Braith Egger and Melissa. They were married Saturday afternoon at Boughton Church.
