Blevins Fire Dept. Benefit For Children's Hospital Is Saturday

The 14th annual area-wide barbecue for the Arkansas Children's Hospital will be held on Saturday, May 6, at the Blevins Fire Station.

Menu will consist of barbecued beef, pork and chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, dessert and tea. Cost will be $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under. Carry-outs will be available. Serving time will start at 4 p.m.

This year's entertainment will have a variety of music with the gospel group Spirit Wind' performing from 4:30 to 5:30, then Randy McKinnon and the Bear Creek Boys' from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Starting at 7 p.m. there will be a cake auction.

Everyone is invited to attend and support this special event. All proceeds will benefit The Arkansas Children's Hospital.
