Helping Hands EHCPublished Wednesday, June 2, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneBluff City Helping Hands Extension Homemakers Club met May 13 at 7 p.m. at the Bluff City Church of Christ with 12 members present. President Marguerite Tomlin called the meeting to order. Bettye Perkins read the Club Collect. Laverne Green gave the inspirational thought, a poem, 'A Pill for Every Problem.' Roll call was answered to 'Something I always wanted to do.' The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Ruth Sullivan presented the treasurer's report. Members voted to go to Crossroads Buffet at Rosston for the family outing June 10. The program for July will be given by Vernell Loe and Laverne Green. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
