E.B. KinderPublished Wednesday, May 3, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesE.B. Kinder, 99, of Swifton, departed this life on Sunday, April 16, 2000. Mr. Kinder was born April 8, 1901, in Swifton, the son of Will and Mary Ellen (England) Kinder. He was a retired farmer and member of the Assembly of God. Mr. Kinder was preceded in death by his wife, Ula Jane Kinder; three daughters, Lola Mae Kinder, Joyce Kinder, and Alma Gene Benson; three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include three sons, Carl Kinder of Gurdon and Ray Kinder and Joe Kinder, both of Swifton; five daughters, Lois Self of Jonesboro, Faye Keester of Dierks, and Ruby Benson, Pauline Calhoun and Aline Brewer, all of Swifton; two sisters, Myrtle Simpson of Newport and Louise Drew of Michigan; 26 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 18 great-great grandchildren. Services were Wednesday, April 19, at Murphy's Chapel Assembly of God with Rev. David Decker officiating. Interment was in Hanes Cemetery in Swifton.
