Martin, Syler Set May 27 WeddingPublished Wednesday, May 3, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesCarroll Martin of Gurdon and Blanch Martin of Arkadelphia announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Lynn, to James Allen Syler, son of Janet and Wayne Syler of Bryant. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Buck and Hattie Martin of Gurdon and the late Grover and Ida Mae Sossamon of Arkadelphia. She is a 1988 graduate of Gurdon High School and a 1993 graduate of Henderson State University. She is employed at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. The prospective groom is the grandson of Allen and Clarice Syler of Arkadelphia and Mrs. Irma Franklin and the late Jimmy Franklin of Amity. He is a 1996 graduate of Bryant High School and will be graduating from Henderson State University in the spring of 2000. He will be attending University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville this fall. The wedding will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, at the Church of Christ in Arkadelphia. Friends.
