Emmet Baccalaureate Is SundayPublished Wednesday, May 3, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneJason Arrington has been named valedictorian at Emmet High School. He is the 17-year-old son of Gary and Jean Arrington. Arrington is president of the Library Club, a member of the Beta Club, gifted and talented, Student Council, and Southwestern Cooperative of Education. In his spare time, he enjoys working on computers. This summer he plans to attend UACCH and major in computer science. Kim Fore has been named salutatorian. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Kenneth and Barbara Fore. Fore has been in the Beta Club and gifted and talented for four years. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Smith. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping and hanging out with her friends. She plans to attend UACCH and get her basics and then transfer to another college. She is undecided about her major. Baccalaureate will be held Sunday, May 7, at 2:30 p.m. in the Emmet School cafetorium. Steve Kelley, a teacher and technology coordinator at Emmet High School, will be the speaker.
