Fair Hill NewsBy BARBARA CORNELIUSPublished Wednesday, April 26, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune The rain held off long enough for the Easter Bunny to come. Hope you all survived the bad weather we had. We received several phone calls warning us. Jacque Davidson of Lake Village visited over the weekend with Lois McCain. They went to Hot Springs Saturday and had a wonderful time. Ricky and Angie Hopkins had a big Easter egg hunt Thursday with about 15 kids and 13 adults. Sunday we had Easter dinner with my parents, J.W. and Maxine Glass. Those attending were Roger and Liz Nunn, Shauntelle Bennett and Payton, Hoyt, Karen, Jason and Sarah Jobe, Tony Overton, Aaron Morton, Tracy and Marcia Bennett, Kevin, Pam, Clancey and Hannah Cleveland, Ricky and Dee Hamrick, Steve, Deb and Cody Jackson, Heath Glass and myself. We had a wonderful time like we always do when we get together. John and Robin Billingsley from Bossier City, La., visited with Lois McCain Sunday. Kim Overton had Sunday dinner with Kenny, Linda, Hope and Al Formby and Michael Hatley. Jimmie and Julia Taylor from Lonoke visited with Ruth Thompson and Sunday dinner with David and Patricia Kirkham. Others attending were Maggie, Angela and Connie and their families. Brenden Peters, Blake Hopkins and Kassidy Steed all enjoyed the Easter egg hunt at school Friday. The Easter Bunny was there. They had lots of fun. Central Baptist Church kids grades k-5 baked Easter cookies Saturday at church. There were several kids from our area who participated. Karen and David Cobb had their mother, Annie Cornelius, Uncle Leslie Renfro and her brother, George Cornelius, over for Easter lunch.
