Charles Franklin Bolls

Charles Franklin Bolls, 62, of Fordyce died Thursday, April 20, 2000, in his home.

Mr. Bolls was born November 15, 1937, in Prescott to Fred Dallas Bolls and Thelma Haynie Bolls. He was a retired major with the Arkansas State Police and a director over the CID Division. Mr. Bolls was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Joye Biggs Bolls of Fordyce; two sons, Charles F. Bolls Jr. of Millford, Calif., and Chris Bolls of Benton; two daughters, Jennifer Rains of North Little Rock and Cindy Lynch of Little Rock; two brothers, Jack Bolls of Bozeman, Mont., and Thomas Allen Bolls of Sherwood; five sisters, Mary Nell Rogers of Little Rock, Martha Lumas of Hot Springs, Barbara La Mastus of Springdale, Dinah Rouse of Atlanta, Texas, and Debbie Whitlock of Olympia, Wash.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 22, at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce with Bro. Roger Copeland officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery near Prescott under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
