Military News - Steed Earns Battalion Level Command

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Roy Steed was recently informed of his selection for battalion level command. LTC Steed is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Roy Steed of Prescott.

LTC Steed joined the U.S. Army in 1982 and has served in various command and staff positions within the United States, Europe and Korea. He is currently assigned to the Pentagon and serves as an investigator with the Department of Defense Inspector General.

LTC Steed is a 1974 graduate of Prescott High School, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Oklahoma City University and the Army Command and General Staff College.

The exact command location and date have not been announced.
