School MenusPublished Wednesday, April 26, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMenus for the area schools for the week of May 1-5 are as follows. All meals are served with milk. Breakfast in Prescott Schools is served from 8:00 to 8:30 and lunch is served between 11:30 and 12:00. Prescott School District The McRae Middle School (MMS) and Prescott High School offer different bar selections for lunch. The bar selections are listed at the end of the lunch paragraphs. BREAKFAST MONDAY: Danish, juice and milk. TUESDAY: Bacon and biscuit, juice and milk. WEDNESDAY: Pizza, juice and milk. THURSDAY: Cereal, cinnamon toast, banana and milk. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit, juice and milk. LUNCH MONDAY: Chicken strips, mashed potatoes with gravy, apricots and roll; PHS, pizza bar. TUESDAY: Hamburger on bun with lettuce, tomato and pickles, French fries and apple/chocolate chip cookie; MMS, salad bar; PHS, chicken sandwich/fries bar. WEDNESDAY: Crispitoes, Mexican corn, grapes and wacky cake with sprinkles; PHS, pizza bar; MMS, hotdog bar. THURSDAY: Sloppy Joe on bun, curly fries with catsup, pears and cookie; PHS, hamburger/fries bar; MMS, hamburger/fries bar. FRIDAY: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, tropical fruit salad and roll; PHS, pizza bar. Nevada School District did not supply the Picayune with its menus for next week. Emmet School District BREAKFAST MONDAY: Cheese toast, ham slice, juice and milk. TUESDAY: French toast stick with butter and syrup and juice. WEDNESDAY: Ham, toast with jelly and juice. THURSDAY: Bacon, toast with jelly and juice. FRIDAY: Sausage and biscuit and juice.LUNCH MONDAY: Hot dog with mustard, relish, baked beans, chips with cheese sauce, fruit and cinnamon roll. TUESDAY: Shepherd pie, green beans, peach half and biscuit with jelly. WEDNESDAY: Chicken patty on bun with lettuce and pickles, purple hull peas and apple crisp. THURSDAY: Pizza, garden salad, pear half, peanut cup and cookie. FRIDAY: Hamburger with pickles, lettuce and onion, French fries with catsup and chilled peaches.
