Mary Evelyn Cooper, 46, of Emmet died Monday, May 24, 1999 in Nashville.

Mrs. Cooper was born June 16, 1952, in New Orleans, La., to Ralph Sprunk and Evelyn Lee. She was a nurse's aide.

Survivors include one son, Garland Wayne Cooper Jr. of Emmet; three daughters, Tammy Cooper of Nashville, Jeannie Cooper of Marrero, La., and Madeline Cooper of Nashville; her mother, Evelyn Lee of Picayune, Miss., one brother, Ralph Sprunk III of New Orleans; one sister, Dottie Tarver of Louisiana; and 12 grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Thursday, May 27, at Delight Cemetery with Rev. Glen Chambers officiating. Burial was under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home of Hope.
