The cemetery clean-up at Piney Grove Cemetery was well attended. The cemetery looks nice. Boughton Church members will have their sunrise service at the cemetery Easter Sunday morning at 7:00 and then we go back to the church for breakfast.

I would like to correct a mistake I made last week. Tonya Guy is the niece of Carolyn and Donnie Steed instead of their granddaughter. Sorry.

Ivy Davis and Margie Lucas visited Syble Brown last Tuesday.

Everett and Mary Orren spent last Monday and Tuesday night with Kirby Orren of Napoleonville, La. They also visited with his wife, Rita, in a nursing home there.

Four boy scouts, Buck and Michael Stone, Dustin Hubbard and R.J. Warren spent the weekend camping with their scout master, Paul Ridgell. They hiked 10 miles Saturday and then went horseback riding.

Sandra Almand of Hope spent Saturday with Mae Blount.

Agatha and Lynden Cowart of Idabelle, Okla., spent Wednesday night with her mother, Annie Mae Hooks.

Doyle Everett Hooks of Ft. Worth spent Friday night with his mother, Cathrine Hooks.

Turkey hunting is big news. Bud Hendrix, Pete Jester and Hershel Hooks have all killed gobblers.

Bennie Walthall of Texarkana visited Willie and me Saturday afternoon.

Happy Easter to everyone.
