Hillcrest NewsBy STAFF MEMBERSPublished Wednesday, April 19, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Irene Wicker enjoyed a visit from her daughter, Sharon Dycus, granddaughter, Melissa Davis, and great granddaughter on Sunday. Edna Tunnel and Martha Parmer also visited last week. Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Dillard, Margaret Rhodes and Cedalia Burke visited Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard last week. Mozelle Gill enjoyed a visit from her sister, Mildred Minges, and niece, Janet Rose, from Enis, Texas. They visited last Friday after not being together in three years, making this a very special visit. Lottie Purifoy enjoyed a visit from her brother, Ewell Gulley Jr., and his wife, Polly, on Sunday. On Tuesday Donnie Rinkle had as her guest, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren from Michigan and Longview, Texas. Wednesday she celebrated her 93rd birthday with many guests. Saturday Kurt and Kenzee Calley from Benton shared an Easter basket with their great Aunt Donnie. Rebecca Hicks and Mary Spearman visited Oscar Hopson. Betty Dougan visits her parents, Charles and Betty Erhart, several times each week. St. Marks Baptist Church visited our services on Sunday afternoon. We extend our sympathy to the family of Hess Thomas. We are sorry to report that Clara McCain is in the hospital.
