Bodcaw NewsBy ALINE CLAUSPublished Wednesday, April 19, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune The Dorman sisters quartet sang for the program on Sunday night. It was a praise service. Then we went to Dickie, Marily and Russ Carlton's to meet a group from Morris Baptist Church. They were still going strong when I left. That is a group that really enjoys singing. Jean Butler from Hope visited Norris Daniels on Sunday afternoon. It had been some time since they had seen each other. Happy birthday for the remaining April birthdays: Todd Butler, Haylee Thomas, Chad Butler, Hayden Hooker, Rocky Cummings and Curtis Dorman. I wished Billy Clements a happy birthday and they gave him a party at the Crossroads. I don't know how many attended. He was celebrating his 39+ or holding. The Butlers had a cookout at the deer camp. They also did some cleanup around the building. Little Haylee Thomas spent the weekend with grandparents, Curtis and Mary Anna.
