You guessed right, my electric blanket is still on.

The annual late Glendene Haynie birthday celebration lunch was held Saturday, April 8, at Western Sizzlin in Arkadelphia. Those attending were Earl and Kay Haynie, Joyce and Delmer Tyree, George and Joy Cox, Pershing and Mary Cox from Prescott; Grant Golden from Hope; Gary and Gaywyn Golden of Murfreesboro; Red and Merilyn Haynie of Magnolia; Doug and Deanna Haynie of Rogers; Hazel, Rayburn and Mary Powell and their daughter Suzie of Little Rock; and George Haynie and Leigh Dundee of Texarkana. A good meal and lots of visiting were enjoyed by all.

Julene and Willie Hulan recently visited her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Audry Curtis, in Emerson.

Ray and Carl Haynie are looking forward to the birth of their grandson. The expecting parents are John and Robin Dean Henderson.

Peggy and Al Butrick and Sue Cornwell from Summit, Miss., spent several days with Billie Ridling.

Don and Brenda Haynes recently visited Red and Merilyn Haynie.

Our niece and her husband, Wanda and Gene Steed, of Camden visited Neil and me on Sunday.

Jasselyn Haynes, daughter of Don and Brenda Haynes, attended the grand march and Prescott's prom with her date, Jack Nelson, son of Perry Nelson, on Friday. Both are seniors at Prescott High School.

Our grandkids, Chris from Dallas, Casey from Ole Miss and his friend, Whitney Canaberry, from Mississippi, and our daughter-in-law, Betty Meeks Wilson, also visited us.

Kyle Haynes, daughter of Don and Brenda Haynes, and her cousin, Jessica Slatton, will be attending a teen retreat with Sycamore Baptist Church on the river near Hot Springs.

Jim and Betty Roberson from Dallas recently visited her mother, Lucy Taylor, at Hillcrest Care and Rehab Center.
