The Easter bunny is just around the corner. Happy Easter to all. I heard that Bill Hall had a house full this weekend. All his children were there to check up on him.

Construction of a fence at Pleasant Hill Cemetery is now in progress. Joan Barton is over this project.

We would like to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Brown to our community.

The slab has been poured for the Fairhill Fire Department. Those of you who would like to give a helping hand, the next meeting will be May 9 at the Fairview Church at 6:30 p.m.

Congratulations, Seth Collins, on your big turkey kill. All the others I guess just killed time.

Our annual Sunday lunch was at Kenny and Pat McCullough's home at Caney. We all enjoyed fish with all the trimmings, plus desserts and more. Those indulging were J.W. and Maxine glass, Aaron Morton, Tracy and Marcia Bennett, Karen, Jason and Sarah Jobe, Tim and Leah McCullough, Roger and Liz Nunn, Shuantelle Bennett and Payton, Steve and Cody Jackson and Tom and myself.

Henry Stuart and Ruby Fontaine would like to congratulate their sister and her husband, Braham and Marie Ridgell of Little Rock, on their 60th wedding anniversary. They were both raised up in the Boughton and Nubbin Hill communities.

Charles and Judy Matthews from Jacksonville were down over the weekend to check on her dad and mom, Lewis and Irene Cornelius.

Flossie Martin, who is at Hillcrest, is doing about the same.

Hope that you will have a safe and wonderful Easter.
