I hope everyone had a happy Memorial Day. There were a lot of visiting and cookouts with a lot of goodies.

Ruth Baker and her sister, Lillie Mae Phillips, are on a trip to Houston, Texas, visiting family and attending graduation for Lillie Mae's grandson.

Mike and Jackie Allen of Lincoln visited the J.D. Allens and the Jack Fieldings of Hope.

Bobbie Grisham Bearden of Benton, La., visited me on Friday. We had a good visit.

A group went to Arkadelphia to hear a gospel group, Kingsmen. Those attending were Ruby Vines, Morine Butler, Lola Allen, Betty Carlton, Earlene Butler and Mary Joe Gregory.

Josh Lane is supposed to preach for us on Saturday, youth day. Lunch will be served.

Ural Poindexter is at home after a stay in the hospital. Remember him and all of our sick.
