Hearing Set On Rural Water ProjectPublished Wednesday, April 19, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneAnother public hearing concerning the implementation of an Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP) grant for the construction of the Nevada County Waterloo/Bodcaw Water Project will be held at the Nevada County Courthouse on April 27 at 5 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is for several purposes. It is to inform the citizens of the current scope and progress of the ACEDP project. It will also be to discuss any changes or impacts involving financing sources, user fees or beneficiaries that have occurred since the last public hearing conducted on June 15, 1998. In addition ACEDP will accept oral written comments regarding the project. Any potential impacts upon citizens that may result during the course of the project will also be discussed. Information will be available for residents to apply for free utility connections to the system. All residents of Waterloo and Bodcaw in Nevada County are encouraged to attend this hearing and participate in the community development process.
