Fair Theme Wanted

The Nevada County Fair Association is seeking ideas for the theme for the Nevada County Fair and parade. The theme must be workable for the parade as well as the entire fair.

The entry is to be one line.

If you are interested you may send your idea to: Nevada County Extension Office, P.O. Box 549, Prescott, AR 71857, by May 1.

If your theme is chosen you will receive two passes for all fair events. We encourage your participation in this as well as the Nevada County Fair and parade, which will be held the third week in September.

The winner will be announced May 15.

Newspaper articles have been contributed to the Prescott Community Freenet Association as a "current history" of our area. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media.

Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
