Last week was a busy time at the center. We played bingo on Monday. Tuesday was the meals for seniors kick-off.

Betty Fancher visited us also.

Jerry Don Childers and the third graders sang for us, with Allen Wimberly joining them on two songs.

Some of the songs they sang were Yankee Doodle Dandy,' Home on the Range,' I've Been Working On the Railroad,' and When the Saints Go Marching In.'

We really enjoyed having them.

National Park Medical Center offered the seniors blood sugar and blood pressure tests free of charge.

The square dancers danced on Friday.

A group of senior ladies from the center went to Prescott. They visited Fly Wheel Pie House and shopped. Those who made the trip were Gene Barton, Ann Boyce, Earlene Self, Adell Tucker, Birdie McKin, Celia Acry, Lottie Rogers, Florine Ursery, Bernie Freeman, Charlotte Shepherd and Naomi Brown. They reported having a good time.

We have several activities planned for this week.

The center is a program of Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way agency.
