Applegate, Phillips Plan May 6 WeddingPublished Wednesday, April 12, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesMrs. Linda Faris of Hope and James R. and Rebecca Phillips of Arkadelphia announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Regina Applegate and Clif Phillips. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Frankie Applegate. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Calhoun and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Applegate of Hope. She is employed by Peggy's Beauty Salon in Hope. The prospective groom is the grandson of Sarah Stephens of Gurdon and Viola Phillips of Prescott and the late Leroy Phillips. He is employed by International Paper Co. as a forester in Queen City, Texas. The wedding will take place on Saturday, May 6, at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Hope.
