Summerville Seeking OfficePublished Wednesday, April 12, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesKasey Summerville has announced she will seek the office of Clark County Assessor. Summerville is a long-time resident of Clark County. She is a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and she has attended Henderson State University. Currently, employed in the office of Clark County Circuit Clerk, Summerville has over 14 years experience in finance and administration, banking and customer service. Summerville is married to Sgt. William Summerville, who is a criminal-investigator for the Arkadelphia Police Department. They have two children, Jade and Jansen. She serves on the board of directors for the Community Family Enrichment Center. She is a member of the Universal Verbena Lodge Order of the Eastern Star and St. Paul A.M.E. Church, where she works with various activities. "I will strive to work along with staff to create a customer friendly atmosphere and operate with efficiency and effectiveness," she said in a prepared news release.
