Rabies Clinic Planned Locally

The Clark County Extension Service, the Clark County Health Unit and local veterinarians will be sponsoring the annual rabies vaccination clinic beginning Monday, April 24, and continuing through Saturday, April 29.

The schedule is as follows for Gurdon and surrounding areas:

Monday, April 25, from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. at DeGray, from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. at Amity and from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m. at Hollywood in the club house.

Tuesday, April 25  5:15 to 5:30 p.m. at Joan, 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. in Arkadelphia at First Methodist Church, and from 5:45 to 6:00 p.m. at Manchester.

Wednesday, April 26  5:15 to 5:45 p.m. in Curtis, and from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Gum Springs.

Thursday, April 27  5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Gurdon at First State Bank.

Friday, April 28  5:15 to 5:45 p.m. in Okolona, and from 6:00 to 6:15 p.m. at Trinity.

Saturday, April 29, from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. in South Central.

The fee this year will be $6 per animal.

Pets must be three months old to receive the rabies vaccination. By law pets must be vaccinated.
