The Chidester Community Choir at Mt. Willow Baptist Church in Chidester, Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor, will be celebrating their anniversary on Saturday, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. All choirs and groups are welcome. The officers and members of the Roanoke Baptist Church of Greenville community will celebrate their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Troy Hearn and family sixth anniversary Sunday, April 16, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be St. Ruth Baptist Church of Gum Springs. Their pastor, Rev. Charlie Thomas, will be the speaker. The third Sunday night fellowship singing will convene with St. Clair Baptist Church Sunday, April 16, at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bro. Roosevelt House and Bro. Leodis Lyons are in charge. Rev. L.B. Beard, pastor Men's day program will be held on Sunday, April 16, at Providence Baptist Church in Hope. Everyone is welcome to attend. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor, will be speaking at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Johnny Jones is the pastor of the Providence. Choir night will be Sunday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Gurdon. Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor. All choirs and churches are invited. Annual mission day program will be held Sunday, May 21, at 3:00 p.m. a New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. Sis. Vernessa Russey, president. Everyone is welcome to attend. Special guest will be Oak Grove A.M.E. Zion of Selma, Rev. Rose Ridgell, pastor, will be the speaker. Women in White 2000, will be held Sunday, May 21, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Gurdon, Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor, and Sis Marie Mitchell, president. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guest will be Sis. Donna Hart of Arkadelphia, daughter of Sis. Mitchell, who will be the speaker. Bible study will be held every Thursday at 12:00 noon at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Gurdon. Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor. Everyone is welcome to attend. Wanda Crow and Queen Hughes were welcomed home by their family and church family after visiting their distant families in New Jersey and Rockford, Ill.
