First thing I would like to apologize to Jeff Morrow. Last week I had gotten the Morrow boys mixed up. It was Jeff Morrow who made Captain in the Army Reserves not Chris. Janie said it is hard to keep up with all them boys and their activities.

Henry Stuart visited with Carter and Mary Ethel Harris Wednesday, finding them doing okay.

Ruby Fontaine talked with Alice Head Sunday afternoon. The condition on Claude Head is about the same.

Gaylon and Alice Head had company over the weekend. Visited them were Kendall Thornton of Ponchatoula, La., their son, Dewayne Head, from Hooks, Texas, and their daughter, Dailine Davis, and her family from Willisville.

Tony Overton and Josh and Adam McKinnon had a good time riding horses Saturday afternoon and Sunday all day. One thing about a horse, you don't have to put gas in it, so they say.

Julie Stockton made the mission trip again this year with Central Baptist Church. She said they worked on a drug store. The trip was fun like always. Sunday night she had supper with her dad, Dudley Stockton.

Sunday was our every weekend get together. We all had a wonderful time at Hoyt and Karen Jobe's. Those attending were J.W. and Maxine Glass, Tracy and Marsha Bennett, Roger and Liz Nunn, Shauntell Bennett, Kim Overton, Kevin, Pam, Clancey and Hannah Cleveland, Steve, Deb and Cody Jackson, Buck Huskey, Jason and Sarah Jobe, Pat, Tim and Leah McCullough and myself. After lunch Clancey and Tim had their 13th birthday party. George Ann Curtis, Jennifer, Dalton and Justin Heath of Prescott also joined us.

The slab has been poured for the fire department at Fairhill. Their annual meeting will be Tuesday night at 6:30 at Fairview Church. All volunteers would be greatly appreciated.

Have a safe week.
