Candace Carrie HonoredPublished Wednesday, April 12, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneCandace Carrii, a family and consumer science educator with the Cooperative Extension Service, University of Arkansas was honored recently by the Arkansas Association of Family and Consumer Sciences at its annual state meeting. Carrii was named Professional of the Year 2000.' Carrii joined the Cooperative Extension Service in 1990. She has served as a County Extension agent - family consumer science in Montgomery, Cleveland and Bradley Counties. She is currently the County Extension agent - staff chairman in Nevada County. She is the recipient of several communication and financial management awards through NEAFCS. She has co-authored an early grade school financial education program called The Cash Kids and she has been chosen to do a workshop on promotion of youth financial programming at this year's AAFCS annual meeting in June at Chicago.
