Prep Class Is OfferedPublished Wednesday, April 12, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe college preparatory enrichment program will be made available for 11th and 12th grade students this summer. This program is better known as the ACT class. Classes will begin June 5 and end June 29. The classes will include individual instruction as well as computer assisted instruction in English, math and reading. At the end of the class students will have the opportunity to take a free ACT test. To qualify for the free ACT participants must attend a minimum of 60 hours. The classes will be held at Prescott High School. Paula Cossey, the school counselor, will provide additional information to students who have expressed an interest in attending.
