The Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce is seeking ideas and items to put into the millennium time capsule.

This box will be placed in the mini-park that is being developed on the former Sterling Store lot at the corner of Main and West First Streets. It will be buried in early summer.

The box will be opened in 100 years.

Teresa Mitchell and Ervin Blake of Rosston are proud to annonce the birth of their daughter, Jasmine Asia Blake, born Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at University Hospital of Arkansas.

She weighed one pound and 14 ounces.

Proud grandparents are D.L. and Opal Ingram and Ervin Blake and Mary Lou Blake.

Make plans now to attend the adult basketball games April 28 in the Ross gymnasium at Emmet High School. A talent show will be held between the two games with the winner of the talent show receiving a $50 prize.

Danny and Kim Stigaullde of Prescott are proud to announce the birth of the daughter, Victoria Edison, born Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in Arkadelphia at Baptist Medical Center.

Victoria weighed six pounds and 13= ounces. She was 19= inches long.

Grandparents are Eddy and Shirley Haynes of Texarkana, Texas; Wallice and Beverly Wicker of Prescott; and Gerald and Betty Sue Sanders of Texarkana, Texas.

Big brother and sister, Misty and Cody, welcomed her home.

The April Chamber of Commerce coffee will be held Thursday, April 20, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Nevada County Library.

Bluff City School will have a reunion Saturday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m. in the Hale Center (same place as in 1999, near Hillcrest Care and Rehab Center).

Paul Lee, director of Prison Bible Crusade, will be speaking April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church near Laneburg regarding his Bible ministry. He will also bring the morning message at 11 a.m.
