Imogene Morgan DeWoody

Imogene Morgan DeWoody, 80, of Prescott died Friday, March 31, 2000, at Hillcrest Nursing Care and Rehab in Prescott.

Mrs. DeWoody was born February 14, 1920, in Bluff City to William and Annie Bradley Morgan. She was a retired Nevada County Clerk and a retired secretary for the Nevada County School Board. She was a member of the Church of Christ, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. DeWoody was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley E. DeWoody.

Survivors include three sons, John DeWoody and William Pete' DeWoody both of Prescott and George DeWoody of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Charlotte DeWoody Woody of Tullahoma, Tenn.; and six grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley and Jake DeWoody and Jaslyn Richardson, all of Prescott and Lucas and Leona DeWoody of Tulsa, Okla.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 2, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Gene Cloer officiating. Burial was in Bluff City Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
