Redland NewsHazel MeeksPublished Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune It may show spring on the calendar, but my electric blanket stays on. Katy Wilson spent Monday and Tuesday with her MeMe Jackie in Redfield. On Wednesday she went to McCaskill to spend several days with her Papaw and Mamaw Wilson. Mrs. Bobby (Agnes) Morrow spent part of her spring break with her grandson, Paxton, in St. Louis. Kim and Toby Cottingham honored their little daughter, Shelbi, on her eighth birthday with a party at their home on Sunday. A host of relatives and friends attended. Faye Taylor, her daughter and grandkids, Gina, Erica and Ryan Burdue, have returned from a vacation trip to Florida. Marilyn and Russ Carlton of Bodcaw visited Neil and me on Wednesday. Julene and Willie Hulan recently visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Helms in Foreman. A good number from Shady Grove Baptist Church enjoyed a camp-out and fishing trip last week. Friends of Winnifred Hulan will be sorry to hear she fell and broke her other hip. Our sympathy to the family of Imogene DeWoody. Imogene passed away Friday.
