The big news this week is Heather and Cannon Callicott are expecting.' The Callicotts, Wickers, Loes and Shewbirts are thrilled at the news. The new arrival should be here in November.

Junior and Ann Loe went to Texarkana Thursday for Junior's routine check-up. Results looked good. Bro. Junior says he feels good; he even gardened a bit.

Chris Hicks is still in the hospital in Hope. His brother, Dennis, was here from Texas last weekend, checking on him and other members of his family.

The Glass family and friends had their monthly supper get-together at Crossroads Buffet Wednesday evening.

Maxine and Lucy Glass and Sidney Steed visited Bro. Novel and Lorena McAteer in Camden Monday.

Linda Hacker and family of Texarkana visited her parents, Pocket and Nez Callicott, Sunday. Linda is having surgery this week. Don and Janice also had lunch with them Sunday.

Cannon and Heather had supper with her parents, Buddy and Beverly Loe, Saturday. Buddy is presently working in Oklahoma City and was home for the weekend.

J.W. and Maxine Glass, Pat, Leah and Tim McCullough, Pam and Hannah Cleveland, Tracy and Marsha Bennett, Barb Cornelius, Aaron Morton, Tony Overton, Karen, Jason and Sarah Jobe, and Deb and Cody Jackson had lunch with Liz Nunn, Shauntelle and Payton in Hope Sunday after church.

Amy, Emily, Chris and Denis Sweat of McCaskill and Janice Callicott had supper with me Saturday evening. My daughter, Phyllis, and her family, who usually join us, spent the weekend in Ft. Worth and went to the NASCAR races.

Funeral services for Frances Kirk of Cale were at Morris Baptist Church Monday.
