Last week's news:

We were blessed with a good rain Sunday evening, high winds also.

John Henry Collins has moved back home from West Memphis. He will be going to work at Meyer's Bakery this week. Ruby and Thomas Fontaine are very proud to have him back.

Prayers goes out to the Graham family for the loss of their son.

Sunday we had a big crowd for dinner: J.W. and Maxine Glass, Liz Nunn, Shauntelle Bennett, Marcia Bennett, Deb and Cody Jackson, Dee Hamrick, Kevin, Pam, Clancey and Hannah Cleveland, Hoyt, Karen and Sarah Jobe, Tony Overton, Aaron Morton and Tom and me. We all had a wonderful time.

Happy birthday to Thomas Fontaine.

George Cornelius took his Aunt Alma Renfro back to Homer, La., last week after a week's visit with her sister, Annie Lee Cornelius.

Monday was a perfect day for a picnic in Prescott City Park. Patricia Kirkham, Maggie, Donald, David, Angela, Ricky, Elizabeth and Timothy Hopkins, Connie Peters, Brenden Peters, Ruth Thompson, Kenzie Walker, Karrigan Tinsley, Angie Cottingham, Larry and Brittney, Beth McBride and Taylor Blevins all enjoyed it.

Thomas and Ruby Fontaine have made several trips to Saratoga to carry Hazel Fontaine to the doctor.

This week's news:

Larry and Janie Morrow have had a house full over the past weekend. Jeff and Grayson Morrow spent Saturday night and Chris, Traci and Abby. Chris is stationed at San Diego. He will be spending two weeks with his family here. He was also promoted to Captain in the Army Reserves at Little Rock. Congratulations, Chris, and best of luck.

Cody Ridling will undergo surgery Friday. It will be a two-hour out-patient surgery. Hope everything goes well for him. A little prayer would make things much better.

Jason Morrow, Aaron Hawthrone and Tony Overton thought Friday would be a good day to do a little fishing.

Sunday we had lunch at one of my five sisters who lives in Hope; Luz Nunn had the whole big family at her home. Those attending were Pat, Tim and Leah McCullough, Pam and Hanna Cleveland, J.W. and Maxine Glass, Tony Overton, Aaron Morton, Karen, Sarah and Jason Jobe, Tracy and Marcia Bennett, Deb and Cody Jackson and Shauntelle and Payton. We have decided that we would go to each others house for Sunday dinner since there are so many of us.
