Fire Destroys Mobile HomePublished Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneHOME DESTROYED Fire destroyed the home of Linda Godsey Monday afternoon. The fire was reported to the Nevada County Sheriff's Office at 3:05 p.m., with Redland's Volunteer Fire Department, the Prescott Rural VFD and the Nevada County Rescue Unit dispatched. When the firefighters arrived, they found the double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames. Their battle was then to prevent the fire from spreading as the structure burned to the ground.
