Emmet Elementary Awards Held

Emmet Elementary School held its annual awards assembly Tuesday morning, May 25.

Floyd Pollock, the school's principal, presented awards as follows.

To Mrs. Quillin's kindergarten class: Reading Anthony Wicker; Good Citizen Lavone McKinney, Alex Marcum, Whitney Lambert, Mitzy Burson and Anthony Wicker; Reading Award Whitney Lambert, Mitzy Burson, Zach Hicks, Alex Marcum and Brittany White; and Math Awards Whitney Lambert, Mitzy Burson and Brittany White.

Mrs. Davis' kindergarten class: Good Citizen Saroya Jasper, Samantha Otwell, Danielle Marlar and Zac Syata; Reading Awards Haleigh Barnes, Betsy Faulkner and Samantha Otwell; Math Awards Zac Syata and Matthew Beck; Good Citizens Saroya Jasper, Samantha Otwell, Danielle Marlar, Zac Syata, Jalen Love, Haleigh Barnes, Betsy Faulkner, Drake Hall, Matthew Beck, Jordan Gatlin and Faith Griffin; Most Improved student Drake Hall and Saroya Jasper.

Mrs. Ward's fifth grade: honor roll Heather Berryman, Amanda Morris, Lauren Otwell and Jennifer Simmons.

Mrs. Smith's: honor roll Josh Barham, Elizabeth Blount, Callie Dearinger, Jonathon Dickerson, Zach Hoover and Bryant McClellan; Overall Academic Award with Presidential Certificate with pen to Zach Hoover; Academic Improvement with Presidential Certificate with pen to Monica Love and Citizenship Award to Jennifer Parmer.

Perfect attendance awards were presented to William Adams, Haylee Bright, Holly Kidd, Joseph Hardman, Blake Beard, Justin Gatlin, Justin McKillion, Randi Hoover and Kermisha Glasgow.
