Hodge Attends ConferencePublished Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesDelores Hodge attended the national Council on Aging, Family Friends Coming of Age 13th anniversary celebration March 26, 27, and 28 in Washington, D.C. Highlights of the conference included a workshop on Proposal Writing and Resource Development,' coordinated and conducted by Roba Whiteley, National Council on Aging Development Office, and Susan Lutz, a Family Friends consultant. A capitol hill forum was presented at the Hart Senate Office Building March 27. During a reception Miriam Charnow, Family Friends resource center director, was honored with the presentation of a plaque and scrapbook. Hodge, along with others, enjoyed a bus tour of Washington and Alexandria, Va. Hodge is coordinator for the Gurdon Rural Family Friends program.
