Al-Anon, for those affected by another's drinking, meets Thursday evenings at 8:00 in the church. For more information call 887-5991. The Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce is seeking ideas and items to put into the millennium time capsule. This box will be placed in the mini-park that is being developed on the former Sterling Store lot at the corner of Main and West First Streets. It will be buried in early summer. Arkansas Public Employees Retirement Systems (APERS) will be bringing a retirement seminar to the Hope area on March 30 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Fair Park Community Center, Park Drive in Hope. This seminar is for state, county, municipal and school employees who are members of APERS. The seminar will include a speaker from APERS, as well as representatives from Social Security Administration, state and public school employees insurance and estate planning. The Prescott High School class of 1980 is seeking information regarding addresses of class members. The annual meeting of the Union Cemetery Association will be Saturday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in the Union Baptist Church fellowship hall. All interested in the cemetery are urged to attend. Anyone wanting to bid on upkeep of the cemetery may contact Janice Porter or Daphne Lambert. Revival services will be March 29, 30 and 31 at 7 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Bodcaw. Bro. Jay Pollen will be the evangelist. He is minister of music and youth at Unity Baptist Church of Hope. Businesses may join the Prescott Athletic Booster Club now by calling Ralph Harris Jr. or Terry Cox. The Women's Tennis League will begin April 11. Anyone interested in playing should contact Vicky Clark or Janet McAdams by April 4. The annual Midway Cemetery Perpetual Care Association will have its annual meeting Tuesday, April 4, at 7 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church. Those interested in the cemetery are invited to attend. Goff Chapel CME Church in McCaskill will have a women's retreat April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme is Women Getting Re-connected with Jesus Christ.' This retreat will include a spiritual workshop, sisterly fellowship and good food. Registration forms can be picked up by calling 870-874-2274 or 874-2857. The School of Hope will present the Ed Enoch and Golden Covenant, (formerly known as J.D. Sumners and the Stamps Quartet), Friday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the Klipsch Auditorium in Hope. The Laneburg Volunteer Fire Department is having a political rally and hamburger supper April 8 at 7 p.m. at the Laneburg Volunteer Fire Department. Chad Cornelius will be the emcee.
