Kindergarten Registration Planned At Nevada School District

Parents of children residing in the Nevada School District and reaching the age of five on or before September 15 are urged to attend kindergarten registration in April.

The registration is scheduled April 13 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the school library.

The registration will allow parents the opportunity to officially enroll their children in the Nevada School District's kindergarten program for the 2000-2001 school year, according to Rick McAfee, superintendent.

Arkansas requires parents to furnish the following records: official birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, Social Security number and a physical.

Parents should enroll students even if required records are incomplete at this time.
