Lois Caswell HenleyPublished Wednesday, March 22, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneLois Caswell Henley, 80, of Magnolia passed from this life on Thursday, March 16, 2000, in Meadowbrook Lodge Nursing Home. Mrs. Henley was born March 12, 1920, in Lafayette County to John Franklin and Allie Aldora (Harris) Caswell. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Patricia Shumaker. Survivors include three daughters, Cherry Hackett of Collinsville, Ill., Mary Poindexter of Bodcaw and Johnette Coffman of New Hope; one son, James Henley of Magnolia; one sister Katie Tauzin of Shreveport, La.; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, March 18, at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Ed Phillips and Bro. Tom Stevens officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery in near Bodcaw under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
