We enjoyed our visit last weekend to Midland, Texas, to be with Carl and Brenda Vandever and granddaughter, Ginger, and great grandson, Tyler.

Tyler returned home with us on Tuesday to visit all his grandparents and cousins in Texarkana and Prescott. Grandmother Malinda (Bebee) McKinnon of Prescott took him to Greenville, Texas, Sunday, where he met his mother to return home.

Our son, Dwight, and Tyler spent Saturday afternoon with us and had supper with us.

We had a good number of visitors in church Sunday. Too many to try to name them, but among them were A.B. and Maxine Luck's granddaughter, Amy, and her husband of Benton.

Last Sunday our church received two new members by letter, Alan and Keri Rosso. We welcome them into our church family.

Some of our youth and adults attended the youth revival at Bluff Springs last Wednesday night. Bro. Chris Lucy of Taylor was the evangelist.

Our youth attended the youth rally at Laneburg Sunday afternoon. They also had an ice cream social.

Gerald and Betty Troutman of Houston and Mava (Bailey) were visitors in Rosston last week. They attended church on Sunday. Odeal Dillard had supper with them one night at their vacation home here. Among the ones they visited were Claudie and LeVergne White.

Our pastor and wife celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary Sunday. Alan and Keri Russo also celebrated their first wedding anniversary this month. LeVergne White celebrated a birthday this month.

While in Midland we visited one of my first cousins who lives there, Dean Starritt. She has just had two knee replacements. Bless her.

On Thursday afternoon Roscoe and I visited with grandson, Marty Williams, and his wife, Raegan, and their baby son, Wren. We had steak supper at the Texas Road House, a good place to eat if you've never been there. On Friday night we had supper with my brother, Billy, and his wife, Minnie Ella, at El Matador in Hope.

Doug and Rhonda Morgan were our guests Sunday afternoon and we went to Klipse Auditorium in Hope to hear the Gold City Singers. They were sponsored by Garrett Memorial Baptist Church. Afterward we had supper at Little B's. Bro. Petie and Laura also attended the singing.

Congratulations to Brandon Wren and his fianci of Texarkana. They were married in the House of Wadley Saturday night. Grandson, Marty, was one of the groomsmen.
