Registration Planned For Emmet KindergartenPublished Wednesday, March 22, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneEmmet School kindergarten registration for the 2000-2001 school year will be held Friday, April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the school office. Parents registering a student should bring their child's birth certificate, immunization record, and social security card. The child must be five years of age on or before September 15. In addition, the parents must present proof of physical examination, which may be by a licensed physician or a registered nurse qualified to conduct screening examinations. The comprehensive preschool examination for enrolling kindergarten students will be administered by the Nevada County Health Office and an appointment may be made by calling 887-2004.
