Golden Oldiesby Doris VancePublished Wednesday, March 22, 2000 in the Gurdon Times The senior adults started their exercise classes on Monday, March 13. We are exercising three times a week. I for one am enjoying it. We also enjoyed Bro. Glen Shults singing for us. We played bingo on Monday. The center closed on Tuesday, March 21, for staff day. Eulah Wilson was the winner of the spelling bee last week. She will face the winner of the Arkadelphia center. She received a beautiful shamrock plant from the center. Lloyd Baumgardner will sing for us next Wednesday. A trip to Glenwood is planned for Thursday, March 23. There will be a quilt and craft show held on Friday. The month of March is fast drawing to a close. We have more activities planned for next week. We were able to distribute all the USDA commodities last week. We are very happy about that.
