The officers and members of Eastern Star Baptist Church will be celebrating their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Marshall Allen's eighth pastor's anniversary Sunday, March 26, at 3:00 p.m. in Smithton community. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Rev. Marshall Allen, pastor.

Annual 52th church anniversary Sunday, March 26, at 3:00 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of the city. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guest is New Zion Baptist Church of Lockesburg. Rev. Rodney Briggs, pastor and speaker, Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Pastor's aid program Saturday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of the city. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Sheree Hendrix, president; Sis. Mary Ann Anderson, vice president; Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Revival services will be held at Bethel A.M.E. Church March 29-31 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for three days will be Madonna Hayes of Hope. Rev. Betty Gulley, pastor.

Youth day will be March 26 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church of Burtsell. L.B. Beard, pastor. Everyone and all churches welcome. Youth director, Paula Gay. Special guests will be Shady Grove Baptist Church of Camden along with its 40-voice youth choir. Speaking will be their pastor, Rev. James Scott.

Youth revival services will be held March 27-29 beginning at 7:15 p.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church of Burtsell. L.B. Beard, pastor. Evangelist for the services will be Rev. Douglas Jones, pastor of Union Baptist Church of Hot Springs. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Paula Gay is the youth director.

Family and friends day program is planned for Sunday, April 9, at 2:30 p.m. at Rising Star Baptist Church in Hope. Rev. Jessie Radford, pastor. Everyone is welcome. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon, with pastor Rev. Quintin Radford speaking.

The officers and members of Roanoke Baptist Church of Greenville community will celebrate their pastor and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Troy Hearn and family sixth pastor's anniversary Sunday, April 16, at 2:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be St. Ruth Baptist Church of Gum Springs. Their pastor, Rev. Charlie Thomas will be the speaker.

Officers and members of the First Memorial Church of God in Christ will celebrate its pastor and his wife, Elder and Sis. Paul Williams, pastor's anniversary Sunday, April 9, at 2:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Eld. Paul Williams, pastor.

The third Sunday night fellowship singing will convene with St. Clair Baptist Church Sunday, April 16, at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bro. Roosevelt House and Bro. Leodis Lyons are in charge. Rev. L.B. Beard, pastor.

Operation clean-up was founded in 1990 by Delton Simpson. This program was designed to assist at-risk youth, to support team work skills, provide jobs and life training and to promote community pride.

Funeral services were held Monday morning for the late Willie Sue Harrington at First Baptist Church in Okolona.

Funeral services will be held for the late Willie Mae Jackson of Omaha, Neb., Friday. She was the sister of Henry Bell and Mrs. Christine Hatley.

Mrs. Jacklyan Brown of Portland, Ore., is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Harrington of Gurdon, as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held for the late Elder Sammuel Sam' Smith Monday afternoon at Barring Cross Church of God in Christ, Highway 67. Eld. Paul Bailey, pastor.

Joe Floyd Welch of Gurdon will celebrate his 87th birthday Wed., March 22. His family and friends wish him a blessed day.

Mrs. Laura Grigsly of Okolona visited her son, Hura Dean, and Brenda Grigsly of Hot Springs over the weekend.
